I managed to get !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! from Auburn, Indiana back to my house on the south side of Indianapolis. 150 miles in an untested car, with no brake lights or license plate.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The passenger floorboard only flooded twice: once when I took it through a car wash (it was too dirty to see out of) the and one again when it rained.

When we were within about 2 miles of home, we stopped at Wendy's for dinner. This is when we learned about the hot start issue. (Mathias says it's an issue with the fuel accumulator) We sat in the parking lot for about 30 minutes letting it cool off before we could get it running.

The burbling, popping exhaust on this thing is amazing. The guy said it had a Pacesetter Monza exhaust and I immediately expected a fart can. It sounds very similar to the 944 race cars I've seen at vintages races.

I'm also not used to driving a classic sports car. It got so many looks, waves, nods, and thumbs up when we were on our way back. There were even people taking pictures of my car as they went by. I loved seeing the people smiling as they passed me doing 60 in a 70.(It was the perfect speed to balance overheating and low oil pressure)

All in all, I'm really happy with my purchase. I'm also very glad I didn't purchase it to DD, because I don't think it'll be 'safe' or 'legal' the any time soon.

I'll drive it anyways though. :)

Right on! Welcome to the old car brotherhood! I've n experience with Porsches but I'll do my best to help out where I can! I've always loved the Early 924's.
